During the Assembly elections, the BJP had made major promises to every section of society. The government must now explain how many promises have been fulfilled.” In Chandigarh, Kumari Selja said the BJP had promised to provide women ₹2,100 every month. The government should clarify how many women were currently receiving the amount, how many were eligible in total and when the remaining eligible women would start receiving the benefit.
