INDORE Geetkar Damodar Virmal:- Under the direction of Collector Mr. Ashish Singh and the guidance of Additional Collector Mr. Gaurav Bainal, the Food Safety Administration team conducted sampling and inspection on Palda area of the city on Saturday night. Palda based firm Atharva Enterprises was inspected by the team of Food Safety Administration and on the spot, the work of packing of groundnut and soybean oil under the name of Soya Star Refined Soybean Oil, Pankhida Brand Groundnut Oil, which was being prepared for human consumption through form for sale, was done. was going. On the basis of doubt in the quality of the said oil, samples of both the above brands were taken. Besides, loose sample of soybean oil stored in the premises was also taken for testing and on the basis of suspicion, the stock of oil of the above two brands was confiscated. Which is approximately 5174 liters whose estimated price is Rs 8 lakh. It was told that an information notice is being issued for rectification of irregularities found on the spot.
Apart from this, a total of two samples of Angoor brand soybean oil and loose soybean oil have been taken for quality testing from another firm Sanwariya Industries based in Palda. All the samples are being sent to the State Food Testing Laboratory, Bhopal for testing, after receiving the report, legal action will be taken.
