Indore Police is continuously organizing various programs to curb cyber crimes and to create awareness among people about it. In this sequence, on 07.06.24, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Indore reached HDFC Bank House Basant Vihar Indore with the police team and made the employees there aware about cyber crimes.

In a program organized at software company HDFC Bank House Indore under cyber awareness, Additional DCP Crime Mr. Rajesh Dandotia, in the 239th workshop, while telling about 450 employees working in the said bank including the management staff about the types of cyber crimes of the present time and the ways to avoid them, gave them information about various types of cyber fraud, financial fraud and social media related crimes on the basis of case study of complaints of cyber crimes received by the police and how to complain on cyber helpline-1930, Indore Police’s cyber helpline 7049124445 etc. in case of cyber crime and how the police takes action on them and what things to keep in mind to avoid cyber crimes etc., was explained practically.

He told everyone that at present almost most of the banking work has become online, by misusing this, cyber criminals focus the most on banking and financial fraud, trap people in their net in various ways and commit fraud with them. This can be avoided only with vigilance and awareness. He also told all the bankers that if you remain aware, you will be able to save your customers from these dangers.
