Action of Panihar Police Station Police recovered four lakh ninety thousand rupees during vehicle checking during code of conduct.

Bureau Chif Sandeep Shukla | MP Gwalior | Keeping in view the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharmveer Singh, IPS directed all the station in-charges of the district to take action against those involved in illegal business by running a campaign. As per the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior, Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Shri Gajendra Singh Vardhman has also directed his subordinate station in-charges to take effective action against those involved in illegal business by effectively checking the vehicles and suspects coming and going to different places in the police station areas. In compliance with the instructions of senior officers, under the able guidance of DSP (rural) Shri Chandrabhan Singh Chadhar, the team of police force under the leadership of SHO Panihar Inspector Dhawal Singh Chauhan, keeping in view the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, was conducting checking in front of Panihar police station today on 23.03.2024, when at 07.00 pm Bolero vehicle number MP-07-GB-0438 was seen coming from Shivpuri towards Gwalior who on seeing the police checking, tried to turn his vehicle Bolero back and take it away. When the vehicle was suspicious and was chased, the vehicle was stopped near the toll naka and brought in front of the police station and when asked the name and address of the driver, he said that he was Sanju Singh son Hanumant Singh Baghel, age 26 years, resident of Dehgawan police station Mau district Bhind. When asked the reason for running away from the vehicle, he did not give a satisfactory answer. When the police team searched the vehicle, the driver Sanju Singh himself told that he had kept Rs. 4,90,000/- (four lakh ninety thousand rupees) in the pocket of the seat behind the driver’s seat in his car. He did not give any satisfactory answer regarding where he brought the said amount from and neither did he present any document regarding the cash and he told that he had brought the said amount from an unknown person from Shivpuri. During the vehicle checking, no promotional material of any political party was found. Sanju Singh Baghel violated the rule of carrying more than Rs. 50,000/- in the Model Code of Conduct, the said amount was seized and the information about it has been given to the concerned officials. Recovered goods:- Bolero vehicle number MP-07-GB-0438 and Rs. 4,90,000/- (four lakh ninety thousand rupees) cash. Commendable role:- Police station in-charge Panihar Inspector. Dhawal Singh Chauhan, Sub Inspector Kishore Singh Bhadoria, Constable Chandrasen Dhakare, Constable Ravindra Singh, Constable Lokendra Jat, Constable Rupendra Sharma, R. Brijesh Yadav have played a commendable role.
