The residents of Kheri Town are facing a threat to their lives. The reason for this is the heaps of garbage placed by the Nagar Panchayat at various places on the roads. Where infectious diseases are being promoted. The transformer installed on the garbage-filled road in Mohalla Sheikh Sarai can also become the cause of death. Under the Prime Minister’s dream project Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, where the government is spending crores of rupees on every Nagar Panchayat, the Nagar Panchayat Kheri itself is seen ruining this dream project of the Prime Minister. The Nagar Panchayat administration itself is dumping garbage collected from the localities on more than half a dozen roads in the town of Kheri. This garbage spread on the roads 24 hours a day in this rainy season is openly inviting infectious diseases. Dozens of people are sick and struggling between life and death due to infectious and communicable diseases in Kheri. The most dangerous situation in this is on the garbage road of Sheikhsarai where there is a heap of garbage on one side of the road and an electric transformer on the other side. People are seen playing with their lives by dodging between the garbage and the transformer in the rain.
The EO had promised a solution to this in the Peace Committee meeting, Kheri Town Kheri.
It is not that the Nagar Panchayat administration is unaware of this. Recently, in the Peace Committee meeting held at the police station, the citizens of the town of Kheri informed the Executive Officer about this danger, and he promised that the problem would be solved, despite this, this problem is not only playing with the lives of the people but is also showing the false promises of the Executive Officer.
